First Denver show sold out! Second show added June 7
On May 17th, Virgin Records will release Give Till It's Gone, Ben Harper's 10th studio album. It was recorded at the Los Angeles studio of Jackson Browne, who harmonizes with Ben on "Pray That Our Love Sees The Dawn." The album also features two tracks co-written and performed with Ringo Starr - the psychedelic-tinged "Spilling Faith" and "Get There From Here," an improvisational instrumental.
Ben will headline a trio of festivals this spring: Lollapalooza Chile, Bluesfest in Australia and GrassRoots, the New Zealand Blues & Roots All Music Festival, followed by the Wakarusa Festival and more dates with more soon to be announced.
Stay tuned for a special album pre-order Mar 29!

Comments/Reviews
Yeah they are back
Great news indeed! Looking forward to this album. It's always good listening to fresh, killing new stuff from Ben.
I've been a follower since ever, and love his folk/acoustic/r&b earlier material as well as the Innocent Criminals! But I'm also thrilled by his unique, direct, modern approach to rock on the latest albums, with R7.
For those who haven't watched the webisodes, it is certain that Relentless7 are back on this album! They are featured in the vids, while recording tracks of the new album.
Regarding the tracklist, I thought the songs "Thank Me in the Morning", "Faster Slower Disappear Come Around" and "Red Spanish Wine" would make it to the final version of the album! (a bonus disc maybe?)
Anyways... it's going to kick major ass...
great news
It is great to hear about the new album, I too am curious if this is an R7 album and if not who the backing band is. Would love to see Juan and Leon make an appearance. Good to hear new music since it was hard for me to get into Fist full of Mercy.
Gavin bring back the forums ;)
PS what is with Denver gettin two shows and everyone else gettin left out
Solo Record?
Well some info I found according to Ben's street team e-mail I received via the record company is that this is his first solo record since Both Sides of the Gun despite earlier interviews with Ben saying it was a Relentless 7 record so for now i guess we wait till mar. 29 for pre-sale info.
Both Sides of the Gun Solos?
Not sure about that.. most would still consider it to be a BHIC album
New album
So so great... so fun... cool...
Great news! A bit surprised
Great news! A bit surprised that it's a "solo-record" but I also believe it's a record company trick... A clarification on which songs R7 play on would be nice.

This is AWESOME news! Ben, do you ever sleep?
Band?
I'm wondering who the band members are on this one? Is it a return to the guys in the Innocent Criminals or a combination of players? Super stoked to hear every note!
Band?
I've read R7 members referring to this as "our new album"-so I'm assuming this with R7 and a few collaborators.
AWESOME! May 17th can't come
AWESOME! May 17th can't come soon enough!!
Looking forward to it. Really
Looking forward to it. Really curious as to who plays on it. Last year it was reported as a R7 project
R7 Project I believe
In interviews Ben has talked about them being a more cohesive band. Pretty sure this is just a marketing ploy imposed by the record company, who thinks it will sell more this way.
What about the song Faster Slower Disappear Come Around (sometimes called Coming Up Easy)? I thought that song was going to be on this album.
