San Francisco regional food banks will benefit from sales of a new CD, KFOG Live from the Archives 7, which will be released at 8 am, Tuesday, November 14 at Wherehouse Music stores throughout the Bay Area. This year's edition features rare live tracks donated by Ben Harper, Counting Crows, Susan Tedeschi, Squeeze, Indigo Girls, Joe Satriani, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Melissa Etheridge, Old 97's, John Popper, Wood, Tori Amos, Jeremy Toback and Phish.
On November 23rd, VH1: The List's "Greatest Rock Star Ever" will air. Ben is a featured guest on the half-hour program. Who will Ben pick as the greatest rock star ever (think hard!)?
San Diego radio station 91X and Toys For Tots will present "Frosty The Show, Man" featuring Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals and Moby on December 9th. The benefit show at San Diego's 1500-seat 4th and B will provide toys to the needy at Christmas. You can't buy tickets, but you can try to win them through 91X.
