I love that the incredible Rodney Mullen rides his friends' pro model skateboards instead of his own. This is the Chris Haslam board that I wrote lyrics to "God Fearing Man" on, a song Rodney enjoys listening to while he skates. The board is up for auction to support the Tony Hawk Foundation and its work to bring free public skateparks to at-risk youth. Psyched to serve on the Tony Hawk Foundation Board of Directors and help build free public skateparks for at-risk kids across the U.S. Last year I had an idea to bring skaters and musicians together to help the cause, and today it's HAPPENING. I wrote the lyrics to “God Fearing Man” and "Burn One Down" on skate legends Rodney Mullen's and Bob Burnquist's personal skateboards, respectively.
