09.12.01 All-Star Show Set for September 28 in Agoura Hills, CA

Ben Harper will join Mick Fleetwood and a host of stellar musicians in a special performance benefiting Fleetwood's long-time friend Peter Bardens, who is battling cancer, and MusiCares®, the arm of the Recording Academy® that provides medical assistance to musicians in need. The show will take place on Friday, September 28 at 8:00PM at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, CA.

The lineup for "Mick Fleetwood and Friends" comprises special guests saxophonist and KTWV air personality Dave Koz; Fleetwood Mac bassist John McVie; blues veteran John Mayall; The Eagles' Joe Walsh; percussionist Sheila E.; vocalist/guitarist Ron Thompson; and guitarist Steve Adams. Ben Harper will perform a rare acoustic set.

Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster and by calling the Canyon Club. To reserve a table, you must either purchase a VIP ticket or buy a general admission ticket and make dinner reservations through Peggy Armonstrong at the club. You must be 21 or older to attend. 08.30.01 Bridge School Benefit Set for October 20, 21 in Mountain View

Ben Harper will play solo acoustic sets at both nights of the Bridge School Benefit at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA. On October 20 and 21, a slew of artists including Pearl Jam, R.E.M., Neil Young and Crazy Horse and others will play to benefit the children of the Bridge School. Today, Inland Emperor Records officially opens its online doors. The new record label created by Ben Harper will feature artists you might not have heard of before, but will definitely catch your ear. The label's first artist happens to be the Inland Empire's own, Patrick Brayer.
In addition to releasing a slew of independently released albums, Patrick played on three songs from the "The Will To Live" and has collaborated with Harper on numerous occasions. Moreover, Brayer's Starvation Cafe concert series helped open the world to Ben, where he played his first set of bottleneck blues.
