This New Year's Eve in Walnut Creek, CA (East of San Francisco), J Train featuring Innocent Criminal bass man Juan Nelson and five others will perform a 3-4 hour gammet of funk and r&b covers and originals at a private party! With a club capacity of merely 150-200 people, the exclusive catered open-bar engagement will celebrate Innocent Criminal stage manager Josh Arroyo's 30th birthday as well as our friends Scott and Jenn's recent marriage. The 21 and over (ID will be checked) event will run from 8pm till 3am and features DJ'ing from Deano the Jazzy Rabbi on the Ones and Twos. There's even a light continental breakfast at the end to boot!

The anticipated Christmas release date for the new "Pleasure and Pain" DVD has been pushed back until after the new year. No exact release date has been set as of yet. In related news, the latest issue of quarterly magazine The FADER (Winter 2001 / Issue 10) features an interview with veteran rock photographer and "Pleasure and Pain" director Danny Clinch.
