Mountain Aire Festival was one of my favorite places to see Ben Harper. Just a bunch of fun, earth-loving, chill people coming together to enjoy great music in the lovely frog jumping countryside of Angels Camp. Indeed, the stars were amazing and the sprightliness of the jams on stage were equal. Ben was an inferno of fierce musical genius & brevity...and the drum circle which followed the night time set was magical.
amazing!!!!! Use Me was funky and soulful. thanx so much! love the new version of excuse me!!! c ya next week
This was the perfect show. I'll never forget it. Beautiful night, clear sky, stars shining. I knew we were in for something special when Concrete Jungle whipped the backside of Attitude. Glory & Consequence was kick-ass. During the first encore, Ben played a beautiful Jah Work, one of my personal faves. Voodoo Chile was as nasty as its ever been. The crowd for this show was phenomenal, lots of room to groove and everyone was shakin' thine thangs. I was with some of my best friends too...Wow! What a great memory! Peace to Everybody!
