Best concert I have ever seen...I remember, at the end, I couldn't even speak...I had no words to describe what I had just seen.
It's been nearly 6 years since I went to this concert... I was 14 at the time, and I went to see the concert all alone, since none of my friends new who Ben Harper was and most of all, neither one of them had any money to buy the ticket... I was lucky, I remember, I asked my parents for the ticked as a christmas present... and there I was, waiting for the concert to star, all nervous.
It was amazing. And I think that seeing it alone mad it even more amazing. I didn't have to share my atention with anyone else except what was going on in the stage, that magical feeling you get when you are 14 and you're in front of a musician you love... magical. Unforgetable.
Since then I've seen two more concerts, and those, I shared with friends... I think there's a time when you have to let go of the good things you've found and shared them with somebody else.. so I did that, and both experiences were worth it.
It's been 6 years, and so much music has passed by me... some stayed, but most as greated me and said goodbye...
yours is still here. And you always be here. You have the power to create ever-reknewing music, so that everytime we listen to the same song, it still feels like the first time. And that, to me, is what makes music great. So thank you, Ben Harper, for you music.
I will always have a smile in my heart when I hear you.
