Ben is the man, and he is deserving of a more grateful audience. It really didnt matter though, as his music transcended the crowd's noise with ease. Those of us who were at the show for the music were treated to Ben at his eclectic best. His musical range was obvious as he wailed out the rocking "Glory and Consequence", strummed the stoner anthem "Burn One Down", and passionately delivered the socially-aware "Like a King". I've only seen Ben in concert once, but anyone who has seen him know that once is not enough.

This was my second live show with Ben and all I can say is...INCREDIBLE AGAIN! Such range and ability- Ben's music speaks to so many different people. I agree with some of the critisisms of the crowd; I hope it doesn't keep Ben from returning. I am a Maine resident and was a bit embarassed. Ben rose above and treated everyone to an AMAZING show. This was my first intro to his send-up of Whole Lotta Love...HOT STUFF. I hope someday the shows are all available (for download or whatever);it is a great way to remember and enjoy the experience. Thanks to everyone who made this Maine show happen.

This concert left me speechless for hours! Ben's solos were incredible. I love how real he is, singing acapella with no mike. Absolutely amazing.

The thing I like most about Ben Harper is the range of his music. From hard rock to soft acoustic, to soul...and all done better than most. This was my first Ben Harper concert. The crowd was immature, that's all, no need to rip on them, just kids having fun. I only wish that he would have jammed some songs out a little longer. Overall, I'd say it was one of the best concerts I've been to.

What an amazing performance! By far the best concert I've ever been too. Ben played his heart out and I felt honored to be there to see it.

the show was unreal. the crowd blew. they need to learn to shut their cakeholes when ben is singing a capella with no mic, or during his acoustic set. he deserves that respect.

This is my ideal show. I've seen Ben 4 times and this is by far my favorite. The crowd sucked hard, but Ben eventually shut the up. People go to these shows not realizing what kind of a treat they are getting!!!(Oppression-Get Up Stand Up), common people. I travelled 8 hours for this show. If you're going to show a little respect for the crowd and the man(Ben)Anyways Ben blew me away, the crowd just blew!!!!!!!!!!

Ben did an amazing spoken word performance in I'll rise, The crowd was really young and sometimes really rude in shouting stuff out while he was playing. Ben seemed tired but he played so gently tenderly when he solo. It was the second time I saw him in concert and I walked away memorized by his diversity in playing in so many differen't styles. Mary

Overall a great show. Highlights would include the dueling drums in "Breakin down" and "I rise". Ben didn't seem to be into it as much as other shows though. We thought he might not be feeling very well, but he still pulled it off. The crowd was made up of many kids from Bates college, some of whom didn't know who was playing. Great show, and great set list.
