This show was not only my 6th show in attendance but also a night that impacted me for the rest of my life. This band is on of the most talented, expressive, spiritual, and innovative collectives in modern music. I was able to meet every member at this show and I was to say on my behalf that these guys are not only the most inspiring players around but also the most humble, appreciative, and down to earth people in the business. It was truly and an honor to meet and share all of them. A dream come true. Thanks for the pictures and the memories. Well worth the trip.
It was one of the best live shows I've seen in awhile. I've seen Phish, Dave, and Santana live and I must say you guys fit in with them as the top live jam bands.
But why no "King/Rise", we Hoosiers must not be worthy.
This was my third Harper show. Evry time I go i see something different. I have seen the sexual healing/whole lotta love set so Im glad i didnt see it again. Breakin' Down was a great end for the show. The drum/precussion battle was amazing. Ofcourse, no one should forget that Juan is the man.
my fourth time seeing ben live, everytime he gets better and better along with the boys in the band!! they are great i mean the whole set was good the first encore where he played solo was great so much emotion into everyword and every note!! he is such a musician and such a writer!!! all i can say is once agian excellent performance!!! peace- jason
This marks the 2nd time ive experienced Harper live. WOW! what a show.... i am a die-hard live music fan and ben and the criminals came through again! i found myself with goosebumps numerous times throughout the show and was even drawn to tears when i heard 'walk away'. i am still awestruck and lost for words, but i will never forget that night!!
Ben has talent, but how about Juan's whistling part in Breakin' Down? Now that's talent!
This was somewhat of a unique setlist for this tour, because neither Faded/Whole Lotta Love nor Like a King > I'll Rise was played. Also, this was the first show on the tour with only one second encore song. They jammed to Breakin' Down for quite a while, though, and they sounded great.
The crowd was very good, and very quiet during Waiting on an Angel and Walk Away. The crowd was also dancing the night away.
I sure enjoyed With My Own Two Hands, also.
All in all, a great show.
It was an awesome show. It's almost hard to describe why. He's so talented and pours so much emotion in to what he does. My favorite part was the acoustic set, especially walk away; he made us feel like he was singing it for us only. It was very touching. I was disappointed, however, that he didn't play faded or sexual healing. but oh well.
I truly haven't felt so open, pure, and cleansed during a concert period...that band, and a truly open crowd make for an intense reciprical experience. Wow...
my second Harper concert and I'll be going back for more. an energy consumed the crowd and made the night amazing... aided by a beautiful acoustic set including PJ's Indifference. Had pleasure of meeting the band backstage and they are true gentlemen... patient and keeping music as focus, not fame.
Whoooaaaaaaaaaaa......dude that was by far the best concert I have ever seen!!!!! Ben Harper is the man, big time!!!! Yeah Ben amazed me with all of his talents and emotions he displayed on stage!!!!! Hope he comes back again soon!!!!! Lata!!
This was an awesome show...I loved when his sexy ass got up and danced during "Steal My Kisses"....He is so talented, I cant wait to see him in concert again!
