Ben Harper Setlist 1969-12-31 - SBW Independent Theatre - Sydney, Australia

Ben played solo acoustic for a small crowd of 200 lucky Triple J (JJJ) radio contest winners and industry personnel. While the world watched online at Virtueoz, Pearl Jam's lead singer Eddie Vedder, in town for a recent Neil Finn show, came on stage unannounced and shared vocals on "Indifference." JJJ aired a post-show interview immediately following and later broadcast the performance sans "Suzie Blue", "Whipping Boy", and "Another Lonely Day" on April 23, 2001.

A truely humbling experience. Bens acoustic performance was gentle and precise. Ben displayed his amazing vocal range against the smooth sounding acoustic and slide guitar. Ben spoke to the small crowd about the cover of "Sexual Healing" before introducing Eddie Vedder for an acoustic version of "Indifference". This surprise blew the crowd away. Awsome show.
