The first and second encores are missing from the setlist.
From the moment I was standing in line and I heard Ben and the Innocent Criminals start to play A bit of a Sly And The Family Stone song I knew this night would be unforgettable. I was fortunate to get all the way up to the front when the doors opened. This goes down as the best concert I have ever been to. I loved everyone of the songs and the Reggae version of Excuse Me Mr. especially. The best parts of the night were when Greg Kurstin reached down and shook my hand, and when I got to stand next to a beautiful girl from Bend that later gave me her E-mail address. I don't think I could have gotten that If it wasn't for the perfect musician-ship of Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals (the cover of Sexual Healing/Let's Get It On, Could have helped) Thanks again for an awesome show.
A little dissapointing after seeing dave matthews at the gorge and garden but a good show over all i didnt know a whole lotta ben harper until i went to the show (i went for jack) but he was pretty good and the innocent criminals were SiCk
Awesome! I don't know how else to explain it. Words will never be able to describe the explosiveness and the fun that I felt at the concert. Perhaps the best concert I have ever been to. Thanks for the great show BHIC.
The best show i have ever been to, Jack was ok but Ben was amazing really got everyone fired up and into the music, highlight for me was Burn One Down though Forever,Sexual Healin and Steal My Kisses was also great, wish it wasnt over already!Great show! Some people need to unwind and take a HIT - Ben Harper
It was so sick, best time of my life. It was great seeing one of my favorite artist preform. FUCK THE PESSIMISTICS
Jack played a real chill set and everyone was totally stoked to see him on stage performing. Ben stole the show though without a doubt. Everyone around me was more than stoked when he played Burn One Down, it lasted probably 10 minutes and Ben really got the audience involved in it. Steal your Kisses was also great as well as Sexual Healing. However, his first song was crazy, Glory and Consequence fired the crowd up and set the mood for the whole show. I can't wait to see him again, and it was definitely worth the X-country trip home to see it.
Quite simply, the best show I've ever seen. Great venue, great fans, great energy, great vibe, oh yeah, great music too! It's nice to know that Ben likes coming to Oregon. I would have liked to see more of Jack's set, but the forest fire blocking Hwy 20 added some time to the trip over from Eugene. No worries though, and no complaints. Thanks for inspiring as always. Peace and Love!
I thought last nights show was one of his best. He was feelin' it! The Bend crowd was into it (sans the drunk idiots pushing their way up front the whole time).
I thought the regge version of I Shall Not Walk Alone, Sexual Healing > Let's Get It On > Sexual Healing, Hide Tide Low Tide (Marley cover w/ Jack Johnson), and Burn One Down were my personal highlights. There were too many to mention, those just stuck out mroe than the others.
I look forward to tonights show in St. Helen's!
Anytime Ben comes out with Glory and Consequence you know it is going to be a good show. Add in Forever, Walk Away and the incredible showmanship that has made the IC the greatest. Ben made a lot of believers last night. I only wish that there hadn't been a curfew. Either way a great show. Ben mixed the acoustic guitar perfectly into his set.
simply amazing!!!!! my first time seeing Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals live! I am just thankful that I could experience such great musical artists just flowing together. The added members really make the band that much stronger sounding. Jack was also very good. Just all around a great night of music, Ben really put it down tonight! thank you BHIC and Jack !
