Almost forgetting ... the most important ... thaaaaaaannnkss Mayi!
She's the friend who made everything possible, so that i could be at this concert! Mucha' gracia' petarda! Besos.
I must tell you that i had been waiting for this concert for almost 8 months ... around that time a friend of mine from Barcelona called me up to make sure i could be in Spain at the end of October (i'm living in Venice, Italy) ... she had a little surprise for me: two tickets for your gig!
The gig has been great and i had a lot of fun ... you might have noticed me since i was the only one jumping as a crazy guy when you started playing "Glory and Consequence" (the live version is one of my favorite songs).
I was a little bit disappointed by the stillness of the audience throughout the whole gig ... unusual for spanish.
But i think the audience also showed a great appreciation through the whole gig ... maybe we deserved a little extra song or so ... next time maybe.
See you, Lorenzo
thanks, thanks so much. I shall not walk alone with your music.
the concert vas great ..but at last moment I was angry and disappointed because ben harper didn
. . . . ...but nothing is as beautiful as when I listen to you... . . . .
i just want to tell everyone how amazing the concert in madrid was. not only have i been able to prove that ben harper and the inocent criminals are as good as they seem on record, but also i have had the chance to talk to them at the backstage. it has been a greate concert!!!! thank you very much!!!!!!!!!
I only want to congratulate Ben,Juan, Leon and all the band for playing with the hands and whith the heart. Every night is different when musicians like all of you are enjoying playing on the stage... I was completely amazed hearing the way you played Amen, Omen "la pell de gallina em va quedar!".Gr
it was amazing to see how your music can cross the ocean and touch people as deeply as it does on the other side. the passion in your music cannot be limited by boundaries. i have felt it in first avenue and roy wilkins in minnesota, marcus in milwaukee, and now in vall d
It was simply amazing!!!! Words can't express what I felt yesterday's night, so I only can say: Thank You, Ben!!! and Thank You, The Innocent!!!, you're fantastic. I realized that music can take you to higher emotions. The two final songs were fab!! Hope to see you soon, as we say in Barcelona : FINS AVIAT!! Lots of love for all
Fantastic gig. My first Innocent Criminals concert, and I hope it won't be the last. They only thing i missed was some songs from Burn to Shine. But everyone of the moments in the night were incredibles. The band is one of the best I've ever seen. Thanks Juan, I really wanted to see you live. You are the Big One.
Thanks for all Ben!
All I can say is THANKYOU so much Ben!! Another beautiful and energetic performance and I was lucky enough to be in the front row. This was my third show in as many different countries and it only keeps getting better. I was enthralled my your rapture after you congratulated the band after a few stand out tracks like Excuse me Mr and When She Believes....
Thankyou for playing Amen Omen.. it was gorgeous
Excellent gig from beginning to end. Loved the blending "Sexual Healing/Let's Get It On". Ben ruled the house so much, it was mesmerising. Absolutely ecstatic "With My Own Two Hands/War". Thank you so much.
What a great gig!! Just starting with a 3-minute solo from Juan in Brown Eyed Blues was a promise of what was to come. A very consitent first part of the set with some jewels like Sexual Healing or Amen Omen and an amazing acoustic encore with Roses (Thanks!), Walk Away (goose bumps!!) or Waiting on an Angel (goose bumps again!)...
In days like today, that most established musicians think their fans are stupid, is good to see honest guys like Ben delivering great music and emotional concerts like the one in Barcelona. Thanks Ben!
