Great show , much more better than the one at the trabendo the previous day.
There were 3 'artists' at this radio show Ben , Jean-jacques Milteau (french harmonica player) Michelle shocked and the Mahotella Queens ( 3 old South african female singers).
Ben opened the show, then was interviewed at the same time roadies were busy changing sets for the next artist and so on for 90 min. So each artist played one after another.
Ben was supposed to play 6 songs but in fact played 7-8. He did a jam on one of his new song with Jean-jacques Milteau on Harmonica ( the one on which he's playing seated) so that song was played twice (one on his own and one with JJM at the request of the DJ) For the last track ( again at the request of the DJ ) every body went on stage to play with Ben. that was pretty cool and unrehearsed and unexpected so Ben had to 'brief' the south african girls for the backing vocals for a minute before playing that song.
The interview wasn't really interesting as Ben doesn't seem to mind at all or was tired.
setlist to come soon
