Ben ripped on the slide with some serious solo action. Playing with Kelly Slater was a large disappointment when Damian is in the house. Saw teh set list for the following eve and wish I was there rather than here. Oh well, better choices next time, Ben...

I was excited to see Harper back at the bowl this year! Every summer I wait for his shows and its like a tradition again!! The energy at his concerts is always amazing and spiritual. I really believe our love for him and his music heals our pains of this world and hope that everyone can experience the amazing talent of the beautiful and soulful artist - Everyone who listens to Ben Harper is cooler and making life a happier place!! I dedicated 'Where Could I Go' and There will be a light' to my boyfriend's mom who passed away 3 days after concert and I believe my prayers at this time brought her peace and courage to be a free! And it was amazing to be almost on stage with the glowing lights and being under MOON and the STARS - esp. when Ben Harper raised his arms to the sky - singing "Where could I go, but to the LORD" almighty

This was my 4th show in 5 days and made me want more. Where could I Go was a nice twist the encores were a perfect end to an extended weekend for me. Thanks Ben & The I C 's. Oh yeah , I shouldn't forget JR GONG , Damien really blew the spot up and was a great opening act for the tour.JAH
