The show was amazing!
Ben Harper has a strong voice and plays guitar like anyone else. When he sings, you feel emotion, power and truth. We feel he believes in the power of the music.
The world today needs artists like you, Ben.
Come back to Brazil soon!

Ben Harper and The Innocent criminals, thank you so much about last two nights. I couldn't resist so i bought tickets for the both days.
I am apologizing in the name of Brazil, because in january 22th you were playing musicis and some people talked with each other. Brazil loves you. We wish you come back soon. I will never forget you singing without microphone in january 22th, I never saw something like that. You'll be always on my mind. Thank you so much to give us the best show ever! Only the Beatles can do a better show. It was the best show that I ever seen. Now I believe that I can change the world with my own two hands, because what seemed impossible became real. You came here. Don't forget theese words from brazilians. You need to be here because I need to give a present for my father and my mother that is to bbe in your show. They love you.
Thank you so much again and again and again!
I'm sorry about the english words.
Sincerly,

In life only few perceive an enlightening moment, and even then the chance to forsee the growth of a legend beyond generations is way beyond the richest of imaginations. I myself have only just been able to experience this feeling for the first time. And to some extent, I think, last night other 6,000 people felt the exact same thing.

After 8 long years, Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals returned to Brazil. Matured lyrically and musically, it just feels great to see the mold being shredded to pieces
We were hit with something never felt before, which unables anybody to still at this very moment, describe exactly what weve just experienced.

In the age of online videos where you can preview any concert you want anywhere in the world, everything only fits together when it is seen with your own eyes. While some havent Burnt to shine yet, others found where to go, when Bens voice cleared through the acoustic structures boosted with only pure vocal strength: clear and penetrating. It really is possible to see music as a religion. As the black rain hypnotized eyes and ears, some manage to steal kisses, while others walked away from their foes and problems. With their inner diamonds awakened, only true fans felt the majesty of Bens solo serving our souls. Grounded and Burnt on down like a scar, this will be THE memory which will forever live with that blessed audience.

Maybe the world hasnt realized it yet, but if some Americans believe Elvis hasnt died, we Brazilians know for sure that the spirit of Bob Marley has resurrected. And his name is Ben Harper.

We believe

9 long years.
9 years waiting for this very day, where I should see BHIC on stage once more.
9 years from that day, on the Free Jazz Festival, in October 98, where I became a huge fan of BHIC, their music and Bens songwriting. Every single year I was anxiously awaiting for the news to come, that they would come and play in Brazil once more. And every year, the same frustration.
Until November 06, when Ive read that the day have come. I would see them again on stage, here in Brazil.
I was so happy.
And yesterday, like Paul McCartney would sing, all my troubles seems so far away. As I entered Via Funchal, I still could not believe that it was true.
After Donavons concert, the roadies brought The Throne of the King to stage. There you go!
When the video sequence started, right before the band members entered the stage, my heart was already jumping out of my chest.
And for the next 2 hours of music, the joy of being there, a blissful time.
The concert was great, although theyve had some problems with the sound, which didnt matter at all.
I was so very happy, that even when Ben came back, all alone, on the encore, and played the beautiful "I shall not walk alone" - a music that brings me absolute peace, though it brings me to tears - even then I couldnt shed a single tear, because I wasnt sad, I was happy to be there.
Well, today Ill be there one more time. And on Thursday Ill be back to Rio (my hometown) to watch the concert there.

All I wanted to say, and I could resume all this that Ive wrote in one single phrase, is:

I am blessed to be a witness.

Thank you BHIC.

This was definitely one of the best concerts I've attended.
They kept the crowd insane (sometimes, more than it should be), and there was a lot of great energy in the air.
Ben was very focused on its music, and the band was rockin!
For me, a huge highligth was the non-mic singing in Where could I go...That gave me fuckin chills! Ben was awesome, and when the band kicked in into the song again, my eyes where completely drowned in tears.

Fucking Awesome! Today I will be there again, and if I can request something, it would be "Indiference".

Love, Peace, Share...

Dan

I've never seen a show like this. No coments.... The band are perfect, bass and percusion shows that music still alive, cause today is hard to find good music. Ben Harper and Donavon are the best musics for me. I recommend this show....

I can't put in words (in english is worst to describe but i really try) what i felt yesterday at the first Ben harper and the Innocent Criminal show here in Brazil/Sao Paulo. The energy was great and powerful ! I cried, I smiled (all of the time), I jumped, I danced (all of the time), I kissed (my love)....and I came back to my home completly in peace, satisfied and HAPPY.
In time, today I'll go at the show AGAIN, and again and again...
Kisses,
Maria Fernanda Moura

No words can describe the 1st show in SP. If you were a BHIC fan, now youve moved beyond that. If you didnt know him, now you worship them all.

Speechless....

Burn to Shine!!!
