On line out front I said something about being excited to see Ben Harper on such short notice. About 5 Barack Obama faithfuls gave me a puzzeled look, "Who?" I told them they were in for a treat. Ben was amazing, of course, and most of the crowd was impressed, some actually even lowered their voices during the performance. Despite these chit chatty people, it was a great time. My favorite part of the performance was when Ben screamed during Better Way. I think a few young Democrats pooped their suit pants, it was pretty funny. Oh yeah, Obama was impressive too. Got my vote!
