I had been waiting for about 3 years to get the opportunity to see Ben and the Criminals. I loved all of the recordings I had heard up until this point, but for some reason Lifeline really clicked with me and became part of me in the summer of '07. I had just made a major life and location change, and every chord of this recording stuck to me like religious peanut butter!

Anyway, I took the train from Brockville, Ontario to Toronto and hooked up with some real tight friends of mine to see the show.

The show that night was the closest I have ever felt myself to God. I don't mean Ben is God, but rather he and his band put me the closest to God and Spirit I have ever been. They where the vehicle driving us to God's house that night. Absolutely brilliant!!! It shook our spirit's awake. We talked about this show for months and still do.

Being a singer/songwriter myself, I strive to put my music across with the realness and conviction you seemingly effortlessly put out

I thank you Mr. Ben Harper as well as all of your band mates that night. Thank you for the love your music continues to send me.

Best Regards,

Shawn Fryfogle

Flew in from Edmonton to check out the show. By far the best musical performance I have ever seen.

Plane ticket from Edmonton to Toronto:
$500
Concert ticket from a scalper:
$350
Best concert Ever:
Absolutely PRICELESS.

What more can I say... I wish I was Ben Harper.

Ben...thanks for paying respects to one of the premier venues in north america. (the place is musical history with amazing acoustics).

Us fans...Mind blowing show. I'm not sure if he's been practicing his vocals but Ben's voice was incredible..by far the best i have heard him.

We were at both shows and after Friday's show we meet the band. It was amazing. So we thought that there was no way Saturday could be better, how wrong I was. The show was so good - Paris Sunrise and Lifeline was the highlight for me. Than after the show I was lucky enough to get backstage passes and hung out with the band all night. We even went out to a club with them. It was the best weekend of my life and I am still giddy just thinking about it. Thanks for another amazing show and a night I will never forget. Jason you rule.

Possibly the best show I have ever been to. Great venue. The set list was perfect with a good mix of new and old. The new album is great but seeing it live brought it to a whole new level. Thanks Ben for comming to Toronto. WE love you.

Thank you Mr. Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals! What a drop-dead gorgeous show. Everytime I see Ben it saddens me because there is always a chance that that will be the last time I see him..as you never know what happens in life. That being said if September 29, 2007 was the last time, then I will be satisfied. Massey Hall is no-doubt a killer venue made for folks like BHIC.

Once last thing to all that were at the show..."USE YOUR COMMON SENSE PEOPLE"..was me...and for the most part, most people did...except for the idiots that felt the need to scream or yell during his solo's.

One of the best concerts I have ever seen. And the best Ben Harper concert I have seen, this was the 3rd time seeing him. It was my girlfriend's birtday that night and the first time she has seen him live. The energy in Massey Hall was unbelievable and Ben fed off of it. You can tell he is a true artist and honestly appreciates his fans and gives back in his performance. The whole band was so tight and loved that many people dressed up for the evening. Masters of War was one of the highlights with Piers Faccini, who I had never heard of before the concert was unbelievable. Please come back to Toronto soon!

My first time ever seeing Ben live....oh my god...was the most amazing show I've ever been to in my life. I didn't think it was possible, but his music sounded even better live..Whipping Boy, Lifeline and his a capella moment are just a few moments that'll be burned into my memory for a very long time....Amazing, thank you so much....

This was my fourth time seeing Ben and the IC's and, like every time, it was incredible. Ben's voice seems to grow every stronger all the time. Needed You Tonight was amazing, Whipping Boy was bad ass and Where Could I Go was incredible. Thanks guys for a great musical experieince!!!

WOW!!, Absolutly amazing. But I can say that for the other 4 times I've seen BHIC. From The first note that ben played untill the last one, right on!!. Whipping boy was breathe taking!! I got to hear a lot of songs that I have not heard live before. Singing without the mic, brilliant!! Thanks to BHIC for a beautiful night. Hope To see you guys back in T.O. real soon.

When Ben hushed the theatre and sang A capella my heart stopped. His voice went right through me. It was amazing. There were so many moments during the concert where I felt goosebumps. His voice just cuts through you and his music is powerful and endearing. When he sings we puts his whole self into it and just lets go.I loved it. powerful. Lifeline made me cry. Definitely a favourite. The best atmosphere at Massey Hall to experience Ben and the IC. Great show by all.Love you Ben and come back to Toronto soon!

This is the 3rd time Ive seen Ben and each concert just seems to be better than the previous. Small & intimate Massey Hall created an amazing vibe. Amazing show in my eyes. Can't forget about Piers Faccini who I had never heard of also put on a solid show. Cheers.

I have seen many concerts from many different genres of music, I have seen BHIC three times and I have to admit that this concert was by far the GREATEST concert I have ever had the opportunity to see. I am very grateful that I had a chance to be part of it. My hat goes off to Ben and all the members of the Innocent Criminals. I just have one question that I know that everyone probably has: "Is there any chance that any of these theatre shows will be released on DVD?" Thanks again for a remarkable show and hope to see you around these parts again soon!!

AMAZING SHOW!! THIS IS MY FOURTH TIME SEEING BEN HARPER AND IT'S ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO SEE HIM AGAIN AND AGAIN. THE PASSION, THE VOICE, THE LYRICS, THE VIBE, THE PRESENCE ON STAGE, AND THE GUITAR TECHNIQUE ARE OUTSTANDING AND OUT OF THIS WORLD! YOU CAN TELL BEN HARPER IS VERY SINCERE AND GENUINE WITH HIS MUSIC. EVERY CONCERT I'VE SEEN ARE ALWAYS DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE! KEEP IT UP AND ALWAYS CREATE MUSIC!! YOU'RE A CLASSIC MUSICIAN!!

P.S. LOVE YOUR COVER OF "STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER." BETTER THAN THE BEATLES IN MY BOOKS. ALSO "LOVE GONNA WALK OUT ON ME" WITH TOOTS BLOWS ME AWAY.

CHEERS.

WHAT A SHOW!!! First time seeing BHIC live and it was amazing!! The guys are so talented, the band is so TIGHT! They never missed a beat. The band seemed very relaxed and comfortable and it came out in the songs. What a voice Ben Harper has, his CD's do not do him justice. There were so many 'highlights' i just think the whole concert was unbelievable! The whole thing was a highlight of my life!!

The best concert I have ever been to. My first time seeing Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals live and I couldn't believe the talent that they all have and the passion that they have for their music. Now this is music at it's finest! I had the best time!! Thanks for the great experience.

The show was awesome as usual. Ben sang un-amplified and projected to the whole hall definitly one of the most remarkable moments of any show! Well done boys!
