It was extraordinary to be by the ocean, groove and listen to great music; Charlie and Ben had great chemistry on the stage. There is something magical about the cool, humid ocean and music under the starlit skies.

The only drawback was the segregated audience sections at the venue, which made it difficult for many of Ben's fans to be close to the stage and enjoy the tunes. It would have been nice to let people move to the front area during the closing performance of the night, especially since it was difficult to upgrade to that audience section and many of the people that were packed in for the daytime performances up there left in the evening. I would have paid extra just to be closer & fill the empty space :)

Rarely it happens, that incredible moment that leaves you stunned and amazed. I was fortunate to be there when it happened Saturday night at Doheny.

Listening to and watching Charlie Musselwhite and Ben Harper fuse their music together gave me the feeling that everything was alright with the world – if only for that moment.

I just don’t think either man breathes the same air as mere mortals.

Ben and Charlie put on a great show. They have such good energy and played with soulful purpose. Glad to have witnessed great music,

This will be my four-year-old son's first BH show. Perfect setting for his lift-off.

He's been to Tom Petty, but he hasn't seen The Man.

Countdown starts... NOW.
