I've already said what a great night it was.
The set list is now uploaded
(pedantically) a couple of things:
1) "lifeline" was preceded by a fabulous lap steel instrumental (think it's called 'mutt') - which was definitely one of the highlights (for me at least)
2) Tom Freund didn't play on "learn it all again tomorrow" - just ben and his mum.
I thought I remembered point 2 but wasn't sure until I found this video on Youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eexAG2soHH4
ok, I'm nit-picking - however the guy who uploaded that video has also got loads of other numbers from the night (how he managed to get so many of such good quality in the face of the hassle from the palladium's staff I do not know) - they're good quality - worth checking out.
Also (see the comment about Ben thanking the crowd) there is a great video of "suzie blue" taken from the front row - here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnh_Q-WTfLQ
Come back soon Ben!
Fantastic gig and was so pleased that Ben recognised how great the crowd had been. I'm sure this has been discussed many times but it's my first time on here :) I'm all for the genuine excitement that fans feel for this man but sometimes it becomes a little self serving. Especially when shouting out during the quiet numbers.
So, much love for the crowd as well as Ben of course
I'm going to upload some videos.....let me know if I'm not allowed to post these on here for whatever reason.

another stunning evening!
i'll post more when you get the setlist up. there was so much stuff here i'm completely blown away right now.
p.s. the only downer was the palladium's archaic rules about "no photography" and the irritating and intrusive way the attendants buzzed up and down enforcing it.
note for the palladium's management: it is the 21st century everybody with a phone has a 'camera' and people like to take photos.
Totally agree with you, the "no photograhy" rule is silly. I can't believe they didn't let me have a picnic in the aisle either! Although I explained the employees I was starving and everybody likes a picnic, they wouldn't let me lay down my picnic rug. So frustrating!
Seriously, just because people have a camera on their phone and lots of them like taking pictures doesn't make it fine. In this kind of venue and for this kind of show, it's disturbing and really annoying. It's sad some people can't understand that. And overall, it's a lack of respect for the artist and viewers. In a stadium or at a rock concert maybe, but not there.
I have two tickets (unfortunately can't go myself). Send me a PM if you're interested!
Do you still have these tickets? If so, how much and how would we get the tickets from you?
I need 2 tickets
I have one ticket. If anyone is interested, please, send me PM
Oh good - another show in London.
see you in April
