The SURFILMUSIC tour is taking a unique turn for its stop in Australia and New Zealand. A special triple bill of Jack Johnson, Ben Harper and John Butler will visit some of Australia and New Zealand’s finest venues this November. Artist pre-sale starts Thursday (sign up by midnight tonight), No codes are needed – access is tied to your Ticketmaster account, and anyone who signs up can join the sale. Public Onsale starts next Tuesday, May 12.

We've just added three shows to the European summer tour! First up a solo evening at the historic Paradiso in Amsterdam on June 22. Then on July 7 BHIC return to Belgium and will debut in Liège following Ben's first appearance there with Relentless7 in 2010. Finally Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals return to Utrecht, Netherlands on July 8 for the first time in over 10 years. Tickets for all three concerts go on sale tomorrow, March 5 at 12:00 CEST.

Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals' episode from the 2007 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival returns to local PBS stations this week! Originally featured in Season 1 of "Live from the Artists Den," the concert took place on a sprawling 700-acre farm at the massive four-day festival held annually in Manchester, Tennessee. Honored to have written music for the play "Hit Machine" which opens tomorrow night June 14th at 7pm at the Judy Theatre at Playwrights Horizons, NYC. There is a sliding scale for tickets, so for those without the means, the event is Free. "Hit Machine," written by Jonathan Caren is part of The Working Theater's Stage Left new play festival. Obie award winner Taylor Reynolds directs. Every play is accompanied by an advocacy organization that fights for racial and economic justice — Ours is Union of Musicians and Allied Workers.
