Arts at St. Ann's

Friday, October 21, 1994 at 7:00pm PDT

A rare semi-acoustic performance including all the Innocent Criminals on percussion. The Bushmills (Agnes Baddoo, Susie Frank and Amy Faust) joined Ben for the first time in nearly a year, harkening back to Mondays at The Mint in Hollywood.

After opening the show with four solo numbers, Ben invited the ladies out to sing "Power Of The Gospel", "If I Could Hear My Mother Pray Again" and, with the Innocent Criminals, "Oppression/Get Up Stand Up". Oliver, normally on drums, took over on percussion. Juan played the djun djun and other percussion instead of bass. Leon, normally on percussion, sat in with his "instrument of choice". The band would backup the remainder of the show.

Ted Hawkins played before BHIC.

Jeff Buckley played the following night.

From Wikipedia: "The original home of Arts at St. Ann's (now St. Ann's Warehouse) was the National Historic Landmark Church of St. Ann and the Holy Trinity on Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights."
