The Ash Grove 50th Anniversary

Friday, April 18, 2008 at 7:00pm PDT

Ben joined a host of performers to celebrate the historic Ash Grove. He was accompanied by his mother Ellen Harper for all songs (5-string banjo x 2, tambourine, harmony), including a duet of Dylan's "Tomorrow Is A Long Time" (guitar/vox). Innocent Criminals Oliver Charles and Michael Ward, along with Tom Freund (upright bass) and Mike McClellan (autoharp, bass clarinet, accordian) played the first four songs. Taj Mahal sat in on guitar for the newly penned Harper original "Spanish Red Wine."
