Sasquatch Music Festival

After a day of music at the Sasquatch Music Festival from Galactic, Jack Johnson and more, Ben Harper hit the stage for a 90-minute early evening performance. Halfway through the set, he invited percussionist Leon Lewis Mobley onstage. With his signature djembe beat, Mobley livened up "When It's Good" and sizzled through a new version of "With My Own Two Hands". Then after repeated "We love you, Leon" calls from the crowd, Ben jokingly turned to his bandmate before "The Woman In You" and cristened the moment with an off-the-cuff line from Foreigner's "I Want To Know What Love Is". Later during String Cheese Incident's closing set, Ben sat in on lap slide guitar and traded verses on Stevie Wonder's "Superstition". Blackalicious was also on the bill, but cancelled due to illness.
