Stand Up For Skateparks Benefit
Ben Harper performed at the third-annual DaGeDar Presents Stand Up For Skateparks benefit hosted by the Tony Hawk Foundation in support of its mission to create free, quality skateparks for at-risk youth throughout the U.S. Beginning with "Lay There & Hate Me", he was joined by Tony Hawk and friends, who rode Tony's personal ramp during an intimate Vert Demo. The family-oriented, carnival-style event featured interactive activities, food, games, and live and silent auctions with one-of-a-kind items and opportunities. The Vert Demo included Hawk, Andy MacDonald, Mat Hoffman, Pierre-Luc Gagnon, Elliot Sloan, Kevin Staab, Lindsey Pastrana, and 14-year-old wunderkind Mitchie Brusco. Tony Hawk's teenage son's band kicked off the festivities with a set full of covers, and DJ Aero spun between acts.
